Sohayok provides a digital healthcare platform that connects patients with healthcare providers including doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies. Our services include: • Online doctor search and appointment booking • Video consultation with verified doctors • Digital prescription management • Online pharmacy ordering with home delivery • Health records management • Emergency service booking • Blood donor network • Health-related news and information The Platform does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider.

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. When you register: • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account For healthcare providers (doctors, hospitals, pharmacies), additional verification is required including: • Valid government-issued identification • Professional license or registration (BMDC for doctors) • Business registration documents (for hospitals and pharmacies)

Healthcare providers using the Platform agree to: • Maintain current and valid medical licenses and registrations • Provide accurate professional information • Deliver services in accordance with applicable medical standards and ethics • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws • Not engage in any fraudulent or misleading practices • Respond to appointment requests in a timely manner Sohayok reserves the right to remove any healthcare provider who violates these terms or receives consistent negative feedback.

Patients using the Platform agree to: • Provide accurate health information for proper diagnosis and treatment • Attend scheduled appointments or cancel with reasonable notice • Make timely payments for services rendered • Not misuse the emergency services • Respect the time and expertise of healthcare providers • Provide honest reviews and feedback

When booking appointments through the Platform: • Appointments are confirmed upon successful booking • Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund • No-shows may result in partial or no refund depending on provider policy • Rescheduling is subject to availability • The Platform is not responsible for delays caused by healthcare providers

For paid services on the Platform: • All fees are clearly displayed before confirmation • Payments are processed securely through our payment partners (bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz) • Refunds are processed according to our refund policy • The Platform may charge a service fee for certain transactions • Healthcare providers set their own consultation fees • Pharmacy prices may vary and are set by individual pharmacies

Users are prohibited from: • Using the Platform for any illegal purpose • Impersonating any person or entity • Uploading malicious code or content • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems • Harassing or threatening other users • Posting false or misleading information • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications • Interfering with the proper working of the Platform

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sohayok shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages • Any loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account • Any interruption or cessation of the service • Any medical decisions made based on information from the Platform The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sohayok and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from: • Your use of the Platform • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any third-party rights • Your content or data submitted to the Platform

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through: • Email notification • In-app notification • Notice on our website

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination: • Your right to use the Platform will immediately cease • We may delete your account and data • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
